30-day trial and 3-year warranty

Cook with them, cut everything, put them to the test. If you don’t feel the difference within 30 days, send them back and we’ll refund you in full. And if they ever fail because of a manufacturing defect, the 3-year warranty has you covered.

30 days to try them in your kitchen

We want you to really use the knives before you decide. You have 30 calendar days from the day you receive your order to return it, even if you’ve used them, and we’ll refund the full price of the product. This period extends the legal 14-day right of withdrawal.

For us to accept the return:

• The knife must be complete, with its sheath, and free of damage beyond normal kitchen use (we can’t accept blades chipped by hitting bone or stone, handles broken in the dishwasher or modified pieces).
• Sets are returned complete. If you’d like to keep part of a set, email us and we’ll find a solution.

How to return

1. Email us at customer@kaen.shop with your order number and, if you like, the reason (it helps us improve, but it’s not required).
2. We’ll send you the instructions and the return label within 2 business days.
3. Pack the knife with its sheath, in its box if you still have it, and drop it off at the indicated point.

Return shipping costs. In mainland Spain they’re on us. For the Balearic and Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and international shipments, they’re paid by the customer, unless the return is due to a defect or a mistake on our part, in which case we always pay.

Refund

We refund using the same payment method you used, within a maximum of 14 days of receiving the product. If you return only part of an order, the refund covers the returned products.

3-year warranty

All Kaen knives have a 3-year legal guarantee of conformity (Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007) against manufacturing defects: cracks in the blade, a loose handle, defects in the steel or the finish. If a defect appears, email us with photos at customer@kaen.shop and we’ll repair, replace or refund it, as appropriate, at no cost to you.

The warranty doesn’t cover normal wear of the edge (sharpening is maintenance), rust from not drying the knife or putting it in the dishwasher, or damage from knocks, drops or any use other than cutting food.

Product damaged in transit or wrong order

If the parcel arrives damaged or you receive something you didn’t order, let us know within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of the parcel and its contents. We’ll send you the right product straight away and take care of collecting the other one; you won’t have to pay anything upfront.

Right of withdrawal

In addition to the above, as a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of receipt without giving any reason, by notifying customer@kaen.shop. You can use this text: “I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods: [product], ordered on [date] and received on [date]. Name and address of the consumer: [...]. Date: [...]”.
